Refund policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you’re not happy, please review our return and refund policy below: 

30-Day Return Policy

You may return items within 30 days of receiving your order if they are unopened and in their original condition with Proof of purchase. All returns must originate from NZ addresses.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, we fully comply with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.

  • Faulty/damaged/incorrect items must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

  • We will replace or refund the item at no cost to you.

  • Please email us at sales@mybatterystore.co.nz within 7 days of receiving your order, including a clear photo and description of the issue.

Wrong Items Bought or Change of Mind

If you bought wrong items or if you no longer need the items (change of mind), please email us at Sales@mybatterystore.co.nz to arrange return and refund/exchange. The items must be returned to us within 30 days from delivery.

  • Only items in original condition (unopened) with proof of purchase will be refunded or exchanged if wrong item bought or change or mind.

  • The buyer is responsible for the return postage and shipping charge of the exchanged items if wish to exchange.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Defective (damaged) or Wrong Items Sent: We will cover the return postage costs.

  • Change of Mind or Wrong Item Ordered: The buyer is responsible for the return postage. 

Restocking Fee

  • No restocking fee will be charged on any returns.

Refund or Replacement

Once we receive the returned item, we will process your refund (to your credit card ) or replacement within 3 working days, based on your preference.  Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to faulty items (defective or damaged) or error on our part.
